Goal of Youth Ministry Ministry with young people occurs within the context of the Archdiocesan Vision that consists of three essential dimensions. The goal of ministry with young people in this Archdiocese is that young people: - Embrace the person and vision of Jesus

Key principles In a dynamic and rapidly changing world, ministry with young people has taken on many different models and approaches. However, the variety of models and approaches that operate within the Archdiocese should reflect the following key principles: Ministry with Young People is: - A priority of the Archdiocese
- Grounded in the life experience of young people
- Integrated within the community
- Inclusive of all
- Part of an ongoing journey
- Aware of the needs of others
- Conducted to, with, for and by young people
- Supported by adults
- Occurs within a safe environment
