| Archdiocesan Organisation: Archdiocesan Profile |
|
Where we areThe boundaries of the Archdiocese of Brisbane begin in the south at the Queensland/New South Wales border and run north for about 350 km along the east coast of Queensland to Gin Gin, north of Maryborough, through a landscape that includes the sun-drenched beaches of the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. Reaching from 100-300 km west to Eidsvold and Gatton, the Archdiocese meets the Auburn Range and follows the Great Divide to the Blackbutt Range. From there it runs in a straight line to the junction of the Lockyer and Ma Ma Creeks, to the McPherson Range and to the Queensland/New South Wales Border - a land area of 77,000 sq km.
