The Catholic Communications Office should be the initial point of contact for all media in connection with matters relating to the Archdiocese of Brisbane.

Wherever possible the Catholic Communications Office responds positively to media calls and inquiries. The Office believes in facilitating a co-operative and cordial relationship with the media as it is the most likely means for projecting a positive image of the Church or the Church’s viewpoint to the wider community.

The Catholic Communications Office can also assist church agencies and parishes with media liaison and promotion of church activities. It collaborates with and contributes material to The Catholic Leader on a regular basis as well as having oversight of the archdiocesan website.
