The family activity sessions outlined in this section of the Sacramental Resource Kit represent one way in which the local Christian community can assist in the faith formation of all its members.
These sessions are offered to parish pastoral (sacramental) teams who, recognise the importance of the family as faith educators; see the initiation process as part of a life-long faith journey; want to keep families connected to the community into which they are being initiated; encourage these families to be full and active members of the faith community.
The new updated version (available December 2011) now contains PowerPoint presentations for use by leaders.
